Armed Forces Day

During Armed Forces Week various events took place in Bromyard, celebrating the bravery and dedication of the UK's Armed Forces.

In particular crowds gathered to support Armed Forces Day in Bromyard on Saturday, 29th June.

The day began with a parade through the town, featuring cadets, youth groups, and veterans from across Herefordshire marching to the beat of drums, ending at Bromyard’s St Peter’s Church. At the church, various officials, including Herefordshire’s mayors and the Lord Lieutenant of Herefordshire, Edward Harley, joined the festivities. A special service was held to reflect on the sacrifices made by military personnel. The celebrations continued at the town green with family-friendly activities and entertainment, such as face painting and balloon modelling.
